AUSTRALIAN SHIPBUILDING & REPAIR GROUP (ASRG)

The Australian Shipbuilding & Repair Group (ASRG) was formed as a result of a merger between the Australian Shipbuilders Association (established 1963) and the Australian Ship Repairers Group (established 1971). The ASRG is the recognised peak industry body representing and promoting the capability of the wider Australian shipbuilding and repair industry sectors (ship construction, repair and sustainment, and supply chain) to both the domestic and international markets. Member companies are strategically located in ports throughout Australia. ASRG member companies provide services to the shipping industry including major refits, conversions, dry-dockings and slippings, hull and machinery repairs, mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance.
