Dear Vessel Owner/Broker,

We are seeking freight quotations for the shipment of approximately 50,000 metric tons (MOLCO – More or Less in Charterer’s Option) of loose silica sand from Dammam, Saudi Arabia, to Kandla or Sikka Port, India.

Cargo Details:

Commodity: Loose Silica Sand
Quantity: 50,000 MT (MOLCO)
Loading Port: Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Discharge Port: Kandla or Sikka Port, India (Charterer’s Option)
Terms: Full Liner Terms (FLT)
Loading and Discharge Requirements:

Loading to be arranged by Vessel Owner at their cost, including distributing, handling, and trimming to the Master’s satisfaction.
Load Rate: 12,000 to 15,000 MT per weather working day, Sundays and holidays included (SHINC).
Discharge Rate: 12,000 to 15,000 MT per weather working day, Sundays and holidays included (SHINC).
Vessel must be geared, or have suitable loading gear to accommodate the loading rate.
Vessel must be suitable for carrying silica sand in bulk.
Freight Quotation Request:

Please provide your freight rate in USD per metric ton (USD/MT) on a lump sum basis.
Please specify the vessel’s expected readiness date (ERD) at Dammam.
Please provide the vessel’s specifications, including:
Deadweight tonnage (DWT)
Capacity
Gear specifications
Vessel IMO number.
Please provide the vessel’s age.
Please state the estimated transit time.
Please indicate your standard laytime/demurrage terms at both loading and discharge ports.
Please confirm vessel is classed with a IACS member.
Please provide details of any commissions payable.
Confirmation that vessel is free from liens.
Confirmation of P&I club.
Confirmation that vessel is suitable to enter both Kandla and Sikka ports including draft restrictions.
